At African Humanity Initiative - NGO, we believe that education is the foundation of empowerment, especially for women and youth in Kenya’s coastal regions. Through our sustainable agriculture projects, we provide both practical skills and educational opportunities that uplift communities and transform lives. By teaching modern farming techniques and business skills, we empower women to become financially independent, reducing their vulnerability to sexual exploitation. As they gain control over their livelihoods, their literacy levels rise, and they break the cycle of poverty, becoming role models for future generations. For the youth, our agricultural programs offer an alternative to the dangerous paths of crime, drugs, and substance abuse. Through hands-on training and access to markets, they find productive ways to earn a living, fostering a sense of purpose and reducing criminal activity in the community. Our approach not only strengthens the economy but also builds a community of educated, empowered individuals who are resilient against poverty and exploitation.
